Reggie Kumar

Reggie became addicted to news while taking a television production class in high school.  After graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree n Journalism, Reggie landed his first job as an Editorial Assistant at KNBC in Los Angeles.  Soon after, he moved to the mid-west for his first television reporter job in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.  He then moved to Omaha, where he covered snowstorms and tornados. 

Reggie got tired of the cold weather so he made the jump back to the golden state working in Palm Springs and Sacramento.  Reggie started working for KRON 4 in November 2008 and now calls the Bay Area home.  While here, he’s covered several national stories, such as the Jaycee Dugard case, the Oscar Grant shooting, and the San Bruno gas line explosion.  

In his spare time Reggie enjoys spending time with his wife and new son.
