REPORTS TO: DIGITAL SALES MANAGER

This is a full-time, non-union, exempt position.

Summary
San Francisco based media and entertainment company seeks an ambitious Digital Account Executive of interactive online advertising sales for new Digital group.  This division offers career growth and financial success for an experienced, tenacious online advertising sales professional who can excel in a resource rich multi platform media and entertainment environment.

This independent media leader seeks a person who desires a synergistic environment that lends itself towards new business development based on a broad market reach, creativity and the ability to produce the finest programming available within their genre across multiple media platforms.

Job Description
We seek an experienced, intelligent and aggressive interactive sales professional to join a highly dynamic media and entertainment environment, with an entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude.  This is a unique online advertising sales position that targets and develops new and existing local accounts in a high profile entertainment group.  This senior account executive will evaluate specific business categories and marketplace trends.

Requirements:
Well-versed in:
online metrics:  Google, Hitwise, ComScore
digital best practices in advertising
social media savvy
well spoken, and concise written communication
ability to sell video pre-roll, post-roll, mobile, online, social media and 
Prospecting new business and company provided leads face-to-face to sell our advertising products.
Handling an aggressive work schedule of daily sales contacts - ability to prioritize and organize work is critical.
6 months or more of successful sales experience
Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Ability to influence/persuade others
Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Internet 
Positive and energetic attitude and accountability required!
Interactive on-line advertising sales experience with clients and digital advertising agencies.
Strong communication skills to present to major advertising agencies, and other major national advertisers in San Francisco and the primary business centers.
Strong relationships with agencies and national advertising clients that allow the presentation of special events, integrated advertising opportunities and standard online advertising sales opportunities
An entrepreneurial and creative approach to business.
The ability to structure deals and develop strong client relationships as part of a legacy media company.
