SAN JOSE (KRON) -- Three accused gang members are facing murder charges in San Jose's seventh homicide of 2012.

Police got the call last Saturday afternoon of a stabbing victim on Sarasota Way.  When officers got there, they found 22-year old Joseph Michael Robidoux-Cadle suffering from an apparent beating and several stab wounds.  Despite performing emergency first aid at the scene, officers say the victim was pronounced dead.

A witness told police about three suspects driving an Acura Integra.  By late Saturday night patrol officers had found a similar car on June Avenue not far from the crime scene, investigators say.  20-year old Alain Calvillo was driving the car police say while 20-year old Filiberto Barreto Lopez and 23-year old Francisco Bartolo Chavez were inside a white 2004 Ford Mustang.  All three were arrested and face murder charges.

Detectives say this does appear to be a gang-related homicide.  Three of the seven violent deaths reported so far in San Jose in 2012 involve alleged gang members, police say.
