SAN JOSE (KRON) -- A 50-year old San Jose man wanted in the murder of a woman found dead inside her home on Evangeline Drive is dead, apparently from a suicide.

San Jose police and San Benito County sheriff's deputies say they found Troy Nocenzo dead inside his car on the side of Highway 129, just west of Highway 101.

Investigators say it appears Nocenzo killed himself from an overdose of pills.  The exact cause of death will have to await an autopsy.

Authorities still aren't saying how Troy Nocenzo is related to the victim who police found in the doorway of her home.

Investigators say someone called 911 Friday morning but the line went dead.  After officers responded to other priority calls in the area, they checked out the home on Evangeline and found the woman's remains.

Witnesses tell KRON 4 the couple of lived in the house had a history of disputes.  Investigators are still trying to determine how Nocenzo knew the victim or where he might be.

This is San Jose's 41st homicide of this year, one more than in all of 2011.
