Pleasant Hill Police Release Sketches of Armed Robbery Suspects

PLEASANT HILL (BCN) -- Sketches of two of three suspects in a violent robbery in Pleasant Hill are being circulated in the community and police hope the public will help identify the alleged armed robbers.

Around 11:05 a.m. on Feb. 7, police were notified of a robbery in progress at a home in the 1600 block of Wendy Drive, police said.

Arriving officers learned that three armed suspects had entered the home and ransacked it.

One had pistol-whipped one of the residents and held other residents at gunpoint while the suspects stole cash, a laptop and a handgun from the home, police said.

The resident who was hit suffered only minor injuries.

The suspects fled in two vehicles. One was a white Chevrolet TrailBlazer SUV with silver hubcaps. Its rear passenger windows and cargo area windows were tinted, police said.

The second car was a two-door late 1990s-model Toyota Solara, police said.

The three suspects are described as black males, and police have released sketches of two of them.

The first is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build who was wearing a blue shirt and a mask covering his face.

The second is believed to be in his mid-20s, approximately 6 feet tall and was wearing a black, gray and red sweatshirt.

Police have also released images of the two vehicles, which were captured on video by a nearby surveillance camera.
