SANTA ROSA (BCN) -- Santa Rosa police say three men in dark clothing stole cash and jewelry from an occupied home on Mesquite Drive in Bennett Valley early Tuesday morning.
Residents said the suspects entered the house, located in the 2200 block of Mesquite Drive, around 1:45 a.m. They demanded money and forced their way into a bedroom, then took cash and jewelry, Sgt. Michael Chad Heiser said.
One of the suspects was armed and struck one of the residents in the head with a gun, Heiser said. The victim was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and released.
The suspects were gone by the time police arrived.
The gunman was described as a white man in his 20s, 6 feet 3 inches tall and 180 pounds with brown eyes. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt and dark jeans, police said.
The second suspect is also a white man in his 20s, 6 feet 3 inches tall and 260 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, a black long-sleeve shirt and black pants, police said.
The third is a white or Hispanic male in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 200 pounds. He was also wearing a ski mask, long-sleeve black shirt and black pants, police said.
