SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)-- San Francisco residents will be able to give their feedback during upcoming public SF Municipal Transportation Agency meetings that aim to improve the current conditions of the city’s bus lines in the Sunset neighborhood.
The transit agency will be repairing the N-Judah and L-Taraval light rail lines and replacing aging streetcar tracks. Muni's also planning on repaving and re-stripping streets as well as cleaning up sidewalks and water lines.
Three locations along Judah Street and two on Taraval Street will be repaired.
Muni feels these necessary repairs on the almost 100-year-old system will help reduce noise and vibration from the streetcars in the neighborhood.
The first meeting will be held at the Taraval Police Station at 2345 24th Ave. on Tuesday evening. The next ones will take place on March 25 at the Sunset Recreation Center at 2225 Lawton St., and April 2 at the A.P. Giannini Middle School at 3151 Ortega St.
All meetings will start at 6:30 p.m.
