Anny Hong

Anny Hong joined KRON 4 in 2012 from the CBS affiliate in Washington, DC, WUSA 9. Prior to that, she worked at KOVR, the CBS affiliate in Sacramento, where she worked as a Meteorologist/Reporter/Anchor. Most recently, she spent a year in Paris studying French at the Sorbonne University. She also took a few cooking courses at Le Cordon Bleu, although she considers herself more of a baker (still working on the cooking!).

Anny was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, home of the University of Oregon Ducks. While she did take courses at the U of O during her senior year of high school, Anny considers herself an Orange-woman after graduating with honors from Syracuse University in Upstate New York. Anny’s first job was during her senior year in college. She was a one-man band reporter in Watertown, New York. Anny loves playing tennis, going to Tahoe to hike or ski, and traveling with her super-friendly Maltese puppy, Mochi. If you see them around town, please say hi!
