Fox spotted at golf course in San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO (KRON) -- A fox has been popular in Tony Lema Golf Course in San Leandro for the past few years. Items such as cell phones, balls, tees, and more go missing often due to the fox taking advantage when people aren't being attentive.

In a review of the golf course written in 2011, one golfer found the fox to be interesting.

"The most amazing event was a fox, who walked right up to the side of our golfcart and posed for a few pictures. I suppose he gets plenty to eat out there, with all the birds and golfers."

It's safe to say the fox is still there and active in the area.

KRON 4's Vicki Liviakis was there to capture the animal at it's finest.
