Jiu-Jitsu academy helps Valley Fire victims

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Sadly, there is a long way ahead for victims of the devastating Valley Fire. A local Jiu-Jitsu academy raised thousands of dollars to help the family of one of their students.

There were several ways the members helped. Members had fun as black belts were in attendance to help relieve some stress that has taken over the victims due to the devastating fire.

Alecia Reid has a report on how people traveled across the Bay Area to help victims. Her report is located in the video above.
