SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- If you were out at San Francisco's Union Square Friday, you may have seen some familiar KRON4 faces ringing bells for the Salvation Army.
KRON4's Stanley Roberts, Lydia Pantazes, and Steve Aveson were out helping the Salvation Army collect funds for those in need.
Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour - enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night.
The KRON4 volunteers had a blast while ringing their bells. They danced and someone gave People Behaving Badly's Stanley Roberts a microphone.
