WANTED: Gilroy police release mugshot of deadly shooting suspect

GILROY (KRON) -- Police in Gilroy are asking the public for help finding a suspect connected to a deadly shooting last month.

20-year-old Jay Vasquez is wanted for a homicide that happened on Nov. 29, according to Gilroy Police Department.

The incident happened around 4:34 p.m. in the 7500 block of Alexander St.

Responding officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics performed life-saving measures, but unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Vasquez is considered armed and dangerous.

He is described as 6'2", 215 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
