Lightning strikes across the Bay Area

(KRON) - The storm system rolling through the Bay Area Wednesday has brought lighting to parts of the region.

The National Weather Service has detected lightning in the North Bay near Sebastopol and off the coast near Bodega Bay.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible throughout the day in much of the Bay Area.

The NWS is advising residents to go indoors if they hear thunder.

Track the storm with KRON4's live rain radar.

On-and-off showers will continue for the rest of the week with cool temperatures along with breezy and gusty winds at times.
