Sophia Villalba is a production assistant for KRON4 News. Born and raised in Southern California, she is a recent graduate from San Francisco State University where she received a B.A. in Broadcast & Electronic Communication Arts. At SF State, she was a part of State of Events, the university’s broadcast where she anchored, reported and produced weekly shows.
If she’s not in the KRON4 newsroom (pranking everyone), you’ll catch her watching historical documentaries or spoiling her dog, Ripley. Sophia found her passion within journalism by watching the morning and evening news every day as a child.
