The Sharks stay alive!
Tomas Hertl’s shorthanded goal puts an end to a grueling double overtime Game 6 in Vegas.
Tomas said, no more!
Last night’s win wasn’t easy, ditto that for this entire series against the Golden Knights.
After being down 3-1, the Sharks have stared death in the face twice in a row and survived, in large part because the guys keep sacrificing their teeth for goals.
Nobody had to take it on the chin in this one, but goalie Martin Jones did have to stand on his head.
He stopped 88 of 91 shots.
Puck drops at 7 tomorrow night at the Shark Tank.
Klay Thompson is obviously not afraid of sharks — the real ones I mean.
The Splash Brother went into the ocean riding a lukewarm wave in the playoffs — and came out like Aquaman.
After scoring only 42 points combined in the first three games against the Clippers, Klay had 32 points in this game alone, just one point shy of Kevin Durant.
And those two needed to step up because Steph didn’t have his best night (just 12 points) but Warriors win Game 4 113-105.
Klay says he must have been riding the wave he got from his sudden decision to take a swim on Saturday.
And just like that, the Splash Brother got his swagger back!
Also, what about his vest and t-shirt look?
It was Louis Vuitton and back in the 90’s all the girls and guys wore it too!
