KRON4 Morning Buzz: Warriors crash again at home

Morning Buzz

The Warriors made a fatal mistake — they got ahead of themselves!

They were so busy thinking about facing the Rockets and they failed to pay attention to what was right in front of them — the Clippers.

The Warriors played like LA was already in the rear view mirror and it cost us the game.

The Clippers hit the gas and Kerr tried to catch up by playing Kevin Durant for 42 minutes.

But KD’s 45 points weren’t enough.

The 129-121 loss if the first time the Warriors have lost back-to-back home games in the playoffs since the 2016 collapse  — the 3-1 blown lead memes exploded.

Klay admitted he didn’t have his eye on the ball.

He said as much right after they won Game 4.

And the Rockets made that four and done last night, polishing off the Jazz in Game 5, 100-93.

Let’s cross our finge4rs that the Warriors can put away the Clippers in Game 6 Friday night, because no one wants to re-live the 3-1 collapse against Lebron’s Cavs.
