Wife of Warriors owner says she’s getting death threats over viral Beyoncé video

OAKLAND (KRON) — Nicole Curran, the wife of Warriors owner Joe Lacob, says she’s been getting death threats after a video of her sitting next to Beyoncé and Jay-Z went viral.

In the video, Curran leans over Beyoncé to talk to Jay-Z during Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Oracle in Oakland.

The Beyhive went off on Curran — claiming she was making Beyoncé feel uncomfortable.

It got so bad Curran had to delete her Instagram account.

The morning after the game Curran spoke to ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne about what happened.

She says she was leaning over Beyoncé to get Jay-Z’s drink order and it was nothing more than her trying to be a good hostess.

“Curran says Jay Z asked for a vodka soda. She asked if he wanted lime with that. But it was loud in Oracle and she couldn’t hear, so she leaned over,” Shelburne tweeted. “That’s where the photos of Beyoncé looking askance at her come from.”

Shelburne also tweeted that Curran is in tears over the whole thing and said “I’ve never experienced cyber bullying like this. I can’t believe our players go through this. That kids go through this.”
