2 dead in quadruple shooting in Oakland

Two people are dead after a quadruple shooting Thursday night in Oakland, according to Oakland Police Department.

Around 11:02 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of 73rd Ave. after a shooting sensor alerted police.

Four adults were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

Oakland Fire Department and a Paramedic Plus Ambulance responded to the scene to help provide medical treatment.

Two of the four victims died of their injuries. Their identities are not being released until their family is notified.

The other two victims were rushed to a local hospital. There’s no word on their conditions at this time.
