Santa Rosa police arrested three people in connection to a shooting Friday they believe is gang-related.
The incident happened around 9:34 p.m. near Northcoast Street and Tan Oak Court.
Authorities say an officer was driving in the area when he heard numerous gunshots.
The gunshots were coming from the Tan Oak Court area.
When the shooting stopped, two people were seen running from Tan Oak Court and northbound on Northcoast Street toward the officer.
The officer got out of his patrol car and ordered the suspects to stop and get down on the ground at gunpoint, authorities say.
One suspect complied and the other suspect turned and fled in the other direction.
The officer called for backup and detained the suspect later identified as Omar Ernesto Nunez-Davila. Nunez-Davila is a 23-year-old Santa Rosa resident.
Officers established a large perimeter and searched the area.
Officers located an 18-year-old man from Santa Rosa with multiple gunshot wounds to his lower extremities.
He was with at least five other people ranging in age from 16 to 25 years-old.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is in stable condition.
Officers searching the area, located the suspect who fled from the initial officer.
He was identified as Emmanuel Flores. Flores is a 26-year-old Santa Rosa resident.
Officers also located a third suspect who was involved. She was identified as Tania Cruz.
Cruz is a 24-year-old Santa Rosa resident.
