3,600 customers without power in Bay Area due to storm

About 3,600 customers are without power in the Bay Area on Wednesday night, PG&E said.

The outages in San Francisco started at around 9 p.m.

PG&E cites the cause as “unplanned emergency repairs,” but the first storm of the season fell on the Bay Area Wednesday.

Power is expected to be restored by 12:30 a.m. Thursday in San Francisco.

Here are the latest numbers:

  • San Francisco: 10
  • Peninsula: 1,245
  • East Bay: 2,165
  • South Bay: 165
