HAYWARD (KRON) — Police are investigating an attack that happened at a BART Station in Hayward Sunday night.
BART Police received a call at around 9:21 p.m. of a stabbing that occurred in the parking lot of the Hayward BART Station, according to police.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from stab wounds and a woman who had been assaulted and punched, police said.
The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery.
He is expected to survive.
The woman was treated for her injuries and released.
Police say there are three outstanding male suspects.
There is no known motive at this time.
BART has increased patrols in the area.
No further details were released.
