SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — BART is recovering from a 20-minute delay due to smoke at the Montgomery Street station in San Francisco Tuesday morning.
BART officials reported the delay due to an equipment problem on Twitter at 5:35 a.m.
Officials with MUNI also tweeted, stating that there was smoke at the Montgomery station coming from a train’s equipment on the BART level.
The delay was affecting trains in the Pittsburg/Bay Point and Dublin-Pleasanton directions.
