Simmer down, Steph!
Sunday night’s game against the Rockets was quite the talker.
The Warriors won 126-85, taking a series lead in the Western Conference finals.
But Steph Curry’s choice of words uttered during the third quarter is getting some attention, especially of one very important lady to Curry himself.
After a successful driving floater in traffic, Curry was seen facing the crowd, taking out his mouthpiece, and shouting “This is my f—ing house!”
“I blacked out,” he said to ESPN.
Curry’s mother, Sonya, wasn’t too happy about that.
“She already sent me two home videos, showing me the clip and playing it back,” Curry told ESPN. “She was telling me how I need to wash my mouth out, saying to wash it out with soap. It’s a message I’ve heard before.”
“She’s right,” Curry told ESPN. “I gotta do better. I can’t like that.”
Kevin Durant spoke out a day later, saying it wasn’t the first time Curry’s uttered some choice words.
