Firefighters in San Francisco put out a fire overnight at an apartment building in Pacific Heights.

The fire broke out on the fifth floor of the building on Broadway near Franklin Street.

One person was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

Crews had to close Broadway between Van Ness and Gough Streets for a time as they worked to contain the fire.

Roads in the area have since reopened.
