2 men assaulted by group of teens in San Jose’s Almaden neighborhood

San Jose police are investigating after two men were assaulted by a group of teens Monday night. 

Police say officers responded to the area of 5700 Tuscon Drive near Mesa Drive in the Almaden neighborhood just before 10 p.m. on a report of a weapons call. 

Officers found two male adults on scene who were reportedly assaulted by 5 or 6 suspects between the ages of 16 and 18. 

The two men were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. 

Police say shots were reported in the area but no victims were located. 

There are no suspects in custody. 

No other information was immediately available.
