Bay Area

Police in Walnut Creek are investigating a road rage incident that ended with three men being stabbed and a fourth victim being hit by a car early Saturday morning.

Authorities say three men have been arrested in connection to the incident.

They have been identified as 21-year-old Joshua Beall, 20-year-old Philip Chun and Christopher Delmonte. Police have not released where the suspects are from at this time.

Beall and Chun were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon relating to the stabbings, while Delmonte was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in connection to hitting the victim with his car.

Around 2 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a fight at the intersection of North Main Street and Parkside Drive.

Police say three victims were taken to John Muir Medical Center and Kaiser Permanent Hospital Walnut Creek for treatment of stab wounds. The fourth victim who was hit by a car was also taken in to be treated.

The four victims suffered serious injuries but are in non-life threatening condition.

Officers say the two groups of men had been involved in what appears to be a road rage incident prior to a fight breaking out.

As of Saturday afternoon, it was unclear where the fight began or whether any of the three suspects arrested were among those who were injured.
