6 arrested in deadly stabbing at San Jose Dollar Tree store

SAN JOSE (KRON) — Police have arrested six people in connection to a deadly stabbing at a Dollar Tree store last month in San Jose. 

Police say the victim, identified as Ryan Rousse, was chased around the store before being stabbed during a confrontation with the suspects. 

The stabbing happened just before 7 p.m. April 4 at the store located at 1178 North Capitol Avenue. 

After the stabbing, Rousse was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. 

His death marks the city’s 11th stabbing this year.

Four of the six suspects were arrested the same night as the stabbing. Police say the fifth suspect was arrested April 18 and the sixth suspect was arrested May 17. 

Police have identified the suspects as Virginia Cervantes, 27, Susan Sparr, 48, Gabriel Rodriguez, 28, Kevin Tran, 25, Anthony DeLaTorre, 24 and Dialo Terry, 19.

All of the suspects are from San Jose.
