Alameda Unified requires masks for students regardless of vaccination status

ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) — The Alameda Unified School District announced Thursday that all students must wear a mask — regardless of vaccination status.

Additionally, regular COVID-19 testing will be required for students who are not vaccinated.

The Board of Education meeting was held Thursday afternoon.

The Board vote 5-0 to both of the new requirements.
