At least one person has been taken to the hospital with burn injuries and five others displaced following a fire at an apartment building in downtown Santa Rosa.

The fire started just before 1 a.m. Wednesday on the sixth floor of the Rosenberg Building on Mendocino Avenue.

The building was constructed in the early 1900s and is a historic landmark.

The Red Cross is helping the five people who are without a place to live this morning.
