Baby falcon rescued in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) — The San Francisco Fire Department got an unexpected visitor Friday night.

A baby falcon was rescued by a Good Samaritan out of the bay water and delivered to the SFFD.

Officials from the Bay Area Raptor Rescue said the months-old bird has a clean bill of health and will be released to its nesting area.

No other details were provided.
