City of Dublin to vote on ‘All Abilities Playground’

KRON4’s Ella Sogomonian spoke with Shari Jackman, Public Information Officer with the city of Dublin, to discuss the city’s vote to create an ‘All Abilities Playground’.

The proposed playground will have retrofitted play structures and restrooms for all abilities at the Dublin Sports Grounds located at Dublin Boulevard and Civic Plaza.

The rehabilitation will also include an all-inclusive picnic area, upgraded landscape, and parking facilities, and pathways to improve accessibility and connectivity to other park features, such as the sports fields.

The project will come before the Dublin City Council on Tuesday, February 19, at 7pm.

Visitors are welcome to view the presentation and comment on the preferred plana at the meeting. 

The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber at 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin.
