(KRON) — The Concord Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Wednesday.

The killing happened at 4:00 p.m. on the 3500 block of Esperanza Drive, police said. Upon arrival, officers found a dead 66-year-old male victim.

According to police, two roommates had an argument which led to the fatal stabbing. Nicholas Carson, 38, was arrested and is being held at Contra Costa County Jail.
