Vallejo brush fire contained, evacuation order lifted

VALLEJO, Calif. (KRON) – Crews responded to a fire burning in South Vallejo on Monday night.

Officials say fireworks were set off in the area causing damage to at least 10 homes.

The fire progress stopped around 10:30 p.m. and fully contained. Vallejo police said the evacuation order was lifted by 11:11 p.m.

The evacuations impacted Del Sur Street south of Pueblo Way, Swanzy Court, and Clearpointe Drive west of Outrigger Drive.
