SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Monday is the deadline for all BART employees and board members to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The order was announced in October when the Board of Directors voted 8-1 to approve a policy statement mandating COVID-19 vaccination of employees, board members, and contractors.
There is an exemption for religious reasons.
BART ridership has returned to close to pre-pandemic levels.
