Oakland police detained two people Sunday who were caught riding recklessly on dirt bikes.
A police helicopter spotted the pair riding through the streets and on sidewalks at excessive speeds and without a helmet.
The helicopter was able to help ground units track the suspects down and discovered that one of the bikes was reported stolen.
