Documentary shines light on ‘heyday’ of Bay Area rock radio

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — It’s called the radio station that changed the world — KSAN Radio, also known as Jive 95, was founded in May 1968 and now, a new documentary is shining a light on the heyday of Bay Area rock radio. 

The documentary has an advanced screen on Tuesday in San Francisco. 

The screening is happening at Slims Nightclub at 333 11th Street in San Francisco.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
