(KRON) — Heavy plumes of smoke were visible from Hwy-101 early Saturday afternoon due to a fire near the Mission District and Potrero Hill, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
SFFD confirmed the fire was at an encampment near Cesar Chavez Street and southbound Hwy-101. Community members were encouraged to avoid the area.
