HAYWARD, Calif. (KRON) – The Hayward Unified School Board held an emergency meeting Friday night to discuss temporarily moving to distance learning.
The board voted 4 to 1 to go remote learning for one week and students will return for in-person instruction on Jan. 18.
The board is set to meet again on Friday, Jan. 14 to discuss if they need to extend the remote learning requirement.
Friday’s meeting began at 6:30 p.m.
