Union members have voted on and approved a new contract that they believe is a good deal on Monday night.
Marriott hotel workers reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with the hotel chain Sunday night.
According to a press release, the deal includes “wage standards, affordable health care coverage, job security protections, and relief from unsafe workloads.”
Officials say hotel workers will return to work on Wednesday.
2,000 workers in the Bay Area have been on strike for the last 62 days and it has been tough for many.
More details on the contract with Marriott, which will last through 2022, will be available in the coming days.
Nearly 8,000 Marriott workers have gone on strike nationwide in cities including San Francisco, San Jose, Boston, Detroit, and Maui.
San Francisco is the last city to settle.
