KRON4 Morning Buzz: Warriors go on to 5th straight NBA finals

Bay Area

We’re all about the Warriors on today’s edition of the KRON4 Morning Buzz!

No team has gone to five straight NBA Finals since the 1966 Celtics.

To make the feat even more incredible, the Warriors got here with three comebacks from 15 points.

They’re the first team to have two players with triple-doubles in the same playoff game — Steph and Draymond — they were monsters last night!

Coach Kerr says the goal was never to “get” to the finals — it’s to win the finals!

With the sweep, the Warriors have 9 days of rest and to see if Iggy, Boogie, and maybe even KD are well enough to join them for the finals in either Milwaukee or Toronto.

This is also the first time the Warriors will not meet LeBron in the championships.

LeBron aside, the Warriors now go for their third NBA championship in a row.
