Lake Merritt BART station reopens after person struck by train

(KRON) – The Lake Merritt BART station has reopened after a major medical emergency caused it to temporarily be shutdown, according to BART officials.

Officials say a person was struck by a train.

This closure has caused major delays in the directions of Dublin/Pleasanton, Warm Springs, Richmond and Daly City.

BART is working with AC Transit to establish mutual aid.
