Two men stabbed on train at MacArthur BART Station

OAKLAND (KRON) - The MacArthur BART Station in Oakland was closed on Friday night due to two men stabbed on a train, according to KRON4 sources.

But at around 9 p.m., the station reopened.

At around 7:50 p.m., two men told police an altercation took place on a Richmond-bound train. Both men suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Sources tell KRON4 one of the men suffered a big gash to his face.

BART police said one victim suffered a cut to the face. The other victim had a laceration on his arm.

No arrests have been made.

Passengers can catch AC Transit buses 51 and 57 from Broadway to the 19th Street station.
