An Antioch man has been arrested on charges connected with secretly filming men and children inside the restroom of a Fremont trampoline park as well as possession of child pornography.

Antioch police said 36-year-old Richard Charles Rocha was pictured on camera as he set it up at men’s public restroom at Rockin Jump on Farwell Drive on May 3.

Based on the time stamp of the video, detectives were able to link Rocha with a white SUV that was caught on camera leaving the area shortly after the hidden camera was placed in the men’s restroom.

Officers found the SD card contained multiple videos of people, including children, using the restroom.

Rocha had prior arrests and convictions for similar crimes including concealing a camera.

Based on the evidence obtained during the investigation, authorities believe Rocha may be in possession of images and videos of other potential victims at public locations.

His home was subsequently searched on May 9 and officers recovered multiple storage and recording devices, which contained secret videos and suspected child pornography.

Rocha is in custody and is scheduled to appear in court June 3 in Dublin.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fremont Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit at 510-790-6900.
