Man recorded more than a dozen people at Berkeley library restroom: police

Bay Area

UC Berkeley police are searching for a man who they say recorded 18 people while they were in the bathroom of a library dating all the way back to last October.

Police say the man who was caught on camera recorded the people while they were in the bathroom on the fourth floor of Moffitt Library at UC Berkeley.

They said in just one day in March, he recorded five people.

At this time officials don’t know if the suspect is a student, or someone who just came on campus and planted the camera in the bathroom.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the UC Berkeley Police Department at 510-642-6760.
