(KRON) — A new Mexican-American documentary highlights the work of seven Bay Area artists and their ongoing fight to preserve their culture.

“The Muralists’ Beautiful Pain” works to empower youth of color and honor local indigenous culture. Artists Francisco Franco and Vanessa “Agana” Espinoza join alongside the film’s director and producer Victor Aquino to share more.
