OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) — Oakland firefighters responded to a two-story fire on the 1400 block of 5th and Chester Street, Saturday afternoon.

A Victorian home’s second floor caught on fire, officials stated in a tweet.

Fire crews are currently at the scene of the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

Around 1:15 p.m., fire officials tweeted that a resident jumped from the home’s 2nd floor window prior to firefighters arrival.

The resident is currently recovering from injuries.
