ONLY ON 4: Photo shows how kidnapped Vallejo teen Pearl Pinson would look today

VALLEJO (KRON) - A new age-progression photo shows how kidnapped Vallejo teen Pearl Pinson would look today.

The photo was only released to KRON4.

Pinson's family sent KRON4's Justine Waldman the photo.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children made the rendering. She would be 17 years old now.

In May 2016, Pearl was kidnapped when she was 15 as she walked along an overpass on her way to school in Vallejo. She was dragged off and possibly shot in the process.

It took investigators more than 30 hours to issue an amber alert. Soon after that, they located the suspected abductor Fernando Castro in Southern California. There was a shootout in Solvang and Castro died.

There was no sign of Pearl, who had green hair and blue-ish green eyes with a very recognizable laugh.

Pearl's blood was found in Castro's trunk and also on the overpass where she was abducted from.
