Man killed in Bay Bridge shooting identified as father, music promoter

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) - The man shot and killed Monday morning on the Bay Bridge has been identified as a father and music promoter.

The shooting happened around 2:35 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80, just west of the Treasure Island exit.

31-year-old Darryl Stinnette from Mesquite, Texas died and two other people in the car he was driving were injured.

According to a GoFundMe page, Stinnette was "a father, son, brother and pillar in the music industry, curating artists, and showed love to anybody he came across."

Stinnette used the stage name "Lil Pooh" for his music and concert promotion, according to friends on social media.

There are still no suspects in custody, or a motive found behind the shooting.

There is speculation that Stinnette and the gunman were at the same place the night before the shooting.
