Police investigate homicide in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Police in San Francisco are investigating an early morning homicide that happened in the Tenderloin District, according to authorities.

Around 3:51 a.m., police responded to Larkin and O’Farrell Streets after receiving reports of a shooting.

Officers arrived to find a woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The woman was taken to be treated at a hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have not yet located a suspect.
