Police looking for culprit after San Jose Veterans Memorial vandalized

SAN JOSE (KRON) — A Veterans Memorial in San Jose was vandalized on Monday and now police are looking to find the person responsible. 

The vandalism occurred just after midnight early Monday morning at the memorial located at Almaden Boulevard and Park Avenue. 

Police say the suspect used the name “Snip” in his markings on the memorial. 

Those with information on the vandalism or the person responsible are encouraged to contact the San Jose Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit at (408) 277-4044.
